Overlap-Welded Pipe

ABOUT OUR MULTILAYER PIPES
Understanding Our Pipe Codes
Our multilayer pipes follow a straightforward labeling system that clearly identifies the pipe’s dimensions, intended use, and welding method.
Example: 12 16 H-A
This model can be interpreted as:
-
12 – Inner diameter: 12 mm
-
16 – Outer diameter: 16 mm
-
H – Application: Hot water / Heating pipe
-
A – Welding method: Overlap welded
Pipe Classification Guide
By Application
-
C = Cold water pipe
-
H = Hot water / Heating pipe
-
G = Gas pipe
By Welding Method
-
A = Overlap welded
-
B = Butt welded
Each combination of letters and numbers corresponds to a specific pipe type. For example:
C-A → Cold water pipe, overlap welded
H-A → Hot water pipe, overlap welded
G-A → Gas pipe, overlap welded
Overlap welded pipes are engineered to ensure a tight bond between layers. They are suitable for systems that require both flexibility and durability, including hot water, cold water, and gas distribution.
Pipe Colors
The color of the pipes can be customized based on your preference or project needs.
Commonly used color conventions include:
– Blue for cold water
– Red for hot water
– Yellow for gas
